The composers of the top five works in Jeu de temps / Times Play 2014, as selected by the international jury, receive prize packages consisting of CDs, DVDs, books, magazine subscriptions and CEC memberships; the composers of the top three works additionally receive cash prizes. The total value of the prize packages is several thousand dollars and made possible through the generous donations by JTTP Project Partners — a range of interested and supportive individuals and institutions across Canada and around the world.
JTTP Media Partners help us promote the project through the coordination of several events featuring JTTP works throughout the year, including radio broadcasts and concert presentations. If you missed these events, it is also possible to listen to all 50 submissions to the 15th edition of JTTP, or to order Cache 2014 (through electrocd.com), a CD of JTTP 2014 works selected by the international jury for inclusion on the compilation.

Concert Presentations
We are very excited that helping us celebrate the 15th edition of JTTP coordinated by the CEC are two important new Project Partners: Montréal’s Akousma festival and Seia, Portugal’s Dias de Música Electroacústica (DME).
Akousma XI — The Digital Immersive Music festival (Montréal)
Starting in 2014, each year’s JTTP 1st prize winner is presented in the annual Akousma festival. Starting this practice, in the 11th edition of Akousma (5–8 November 2014), both the 2014 and 2013 winners will be presented:
- 5 Nov: James O'Callaghan — Objects-Interiors (JTTP 2013)
- 8 Nov: Line Katcho — Aiguillage [Switches & Crossings] (JTTP 2014)
DME — Dias de Música Electroacústica (Seia, Portugal)
The CEC has been invited to curate the 21st edition of Dias de Música Electroacústica, which will comprise three concerts, one of which featuring all of the prize-winning JTTP 2014 works. More information about these events in Seia, Portugal will follow soon, but you can already mark mid-February 2015 in your calendar!
The Partnership with DME is a new project component to feature all prize-winning JTTP works in a prestigious international context. The DME events will inaugurate the component, which will roam each year to a different place. Plans for 2015 and 2016 are already being put in place and details will be made public before the next JTTP deadline (1 May 2015).
Key Past JTTP Concert Events
27 May 2010 — A concert of selected JTTP 2010 winning works at Centro Mexicano para la Música y las Artes Sonoras (CMMAS) in Morelia, Mexico.
